Project description

Elmhurst, Inc. is a 501(c)3 philanthropic brokerage and the first organization of its kind to provide financial products and services exclusively to nonprofits and their affiliates. We have created a market-efficient approach to the grant and disbursement process in the form of purchasing power parity that, among other advantages, helps exempt organizations plan better longitudinally. In addition to making a market for goods and services generally our interest is demand-side philanthropy where previous attention was supply-side grantmaking.

Currently our index price is a simple average between immediate or scheduled unfulfilled requests for goods and services weighted to a secondary market price like AAPL.
Our purchasing power rates are simple averages between sample grants and investor deposit balances supplemented by principals from investors’ trading activity.
Our market activity is a simple average comprised of requests fulfilled FIFO divided by a time series.
OHLC quotes therefore measure the change in simple average MSRP of fulfilled request volume.
We collect commissions from dividing error margins between total historic and immediate fulfilled and unfulfilled requests by total historic and immediate open and closed trade principals then adding each percentage to trade principals as markup.

Project goal

Our desire is to develop techniques that maximize purchasing power rates
(Competition Objective #1, cell O2),
Index price (Competition Objective #2, cell F2),
Commissions, (Competition Objective #3, cell K32), and
Fulfilled market volume (Competition Objective #4, cell C2),
P/L (Competition Objective #5, K2:K29), and
Dividends (Competition Objective #6, H2:H4, O2:O4) given a set of parameters and sample data.

Expected results:
Winner will be decided by the greatest index price, highest purchasing power rate in dollars per second, commission, average fulfilled request rate, P/L, and dividends. Multiple winners are possible.

Version 1 of our algorithm assumes purchasing power parity is $25,684,381/sec.
We expect Version 2 from this competition should be at least $25,684,381/sec.

The scope of purchasing power parity is symmetrical to all modern finance measurements. Analysts applying techniques will find value in the sample dataset.
